A glass canopy is a transparent or semi-transparent overhead structure typically made of tempered or laminated safety glass panels supported by a framework which can be made of materials such as mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium. Glass canopies are used in architectural and construction applications to provide protection from the elements while allowing natural light to pass through.
